It is set in a town called Deadloch, Tasmania.  In the first episode, Trent Latham (Barry Wheeler) is found naked and dead on a beach.  The question is can Sergeant Dulcie Collins (Kate Box) and Det. Eddie Redcliffe (Madeleine Sami) work together to solve the mystery?  It's a whodunnit. Enjoy! Description Deadloch is an eight-part crime comedy. When a local man turns up dead on a beach, two vastly different detectives are thrown together to solve the case. Deadloch puts a comedic spin on the crime genre, completely flipping it and challenging the tropes of the genre. It’s a compelling mystery with The Kates’ signature humour, and explores themes of truth, misogyny, gender, and race. The Dropout Elizabeth Meriwether Pictures/Semi-Formal Productions/20th Television/Searchlight Television Disney Platform Distribution/Hulu Genre Drama #whatonwhatsgood Express Review (by: Jovin Tardif) 'The Dropout' tells the story of Elizabeth Holmes (Amanda Seyfried).   The series basically explores the rise and fall of Elizabeth Holmes and Theranos. Her goal was to create a blood diagnostic technology that will be able to run hundreds of tests on a single drop of blood.  Her technology never worked.   I must say, Amanda Seyfried does an amazing portrayal of Elizabeth Holmes.  The story allows you to see Holmes in high school, as a college freshman, and eventually a businesswoman. Untold: Jail Blazers Release April 14th, 2026 I watched the documentary, and it really made me think. I kept wondering if the NBA players were actually as bad as people said, or if the media made them look worse than they were. Some players did have real problems off the court. Rasheed Wallace sometimes got into trouble, and Damon Stoudamire also had issues, including marijuana charges. That’s why the team got the nickname “Jail Blazers” during the late 1990s and early 2000s. The name came from a lot of off-court problems like drug possession, legal issues, and heated moments with referees. There were serious incidents, too. Ruben Patterson pleaded guilty to attempted rape in 2001, and Qyntel Woods was involved in an animal abuse case. There were also problems inside the team. At one point in practice, Zach Randolph punched Ruben Patterson and broke his eye socket. The team was very good, but there was a lot of fighting and problems with control. Weird: The Al Yankovic Story Funny or Die, Tango Entertainment, Ear Booker Productions The Roku Channel Release dates September 8, 2022 (TIFF) November 4, 2022 #whatonwhatsgood Express Review His mother Mary (Julianne Nicholson) didn't mind that Al wanted to be a musician but his father Nick (Toby Huss) thought it wasn't a good idea.  Al Yankovic (Daniel Radcliffe) nonetheless decided to follow his dream and create polka songs by changing the lyrics to well-known songs.   Did he make his dream come true and at what cost? In one segment, you learn how Al came up with the song “My Bologna” which quickly got the attention of Dr. Demento (Rainn Wilson).  Where the story got weird was his "relationship" with Madonna (Evan Rachel Wood).  It was very unrealistic... yet funny ... The Man from Toronto (2022) Columbia Pictures, Bron Creative, Escape Artists Netflix Release date June 24, 2022 #whatonwhatsgood Express Review (by: Jovin Tardif) The Man From Toronto is a decent action flick.  I must say Kevin Hart and Woody Harrelson work very well together in this action-comedy film. Basically in this movie, you have a case of mistaken identity. Let's just say that Teddy Jackson (Kevin Hart), an out of work gym membership salesman, walked into the wrong room and now everyone thinks he is the world’s deadliest killer,  “The Man from Toronto”. (MFT)  What will happen when "The Man from Toronto" (Woody Harrelson) meets Teddy?    The other cast members (Kaley Cuoco, Jasmine Mathews, Lela Loren, Pierson Fode, Jencarlos Canela, and Ellen Barkin) really add some excitement to the storyline.   Let's hope Hart and Harrelson can team up again on another adventure. Bel-Air Season 1 No. of episodes: 10 #whatonwhatsgood Express Review (by: Jovin Tardif) Bel-Air is a dramatic version of the '90s comedy sitcom 'The Fresh Prince of Bel Air'.  It's about a young Will Smith who has to go to L.A. because of some issues happening in Philadelphia.  Just like in the original series, Will (Jabari Banks) has to get used to his new surroundings with his wealthy family in Los Angeles.  The series is interesting and they made some adjustments to the characters. Uncle Phil (Adrian Holmes) is slightly different in this show.  He's strict but fair.  He also has a few secrets. Aunt Vivian (Cassandra Freeman) plays a similar role to the 90's sitcom where she helps everyone try to accomplish their goals and become successful.  The only difference in this show is that she used to paint and she stopped doing it to help Uncle Phil with his political career.
