The Neighborhood Mud, Blood & Beer Productions/A Bird and a Bear Entertainment/Kapital Entertainment/Trill Television CBS Studios/CBS #whatonwhatsgood Express Review (by: Jovin Tardif) "The Neighborhood on CBS is about a friendly Midwestern couple (Dave and Gemma Johnson) and their son Grover (Hank Greenspan) who move to a neighborhood in Los Angeles. Gemma (Beth Behrs) got a new job as a school principal in L.A. Dave Johnson (Max Greenfield) is just about the friendliest guy in the world.  I don't think anyone can dislike him.  Well one person can... They have a pretty opinionated next-door neighbor, the grouchy mechanic Calvin Butler (Cedric the Entertainer).  He has a wife named Tina (Tichina Arnold) and two sons Marty (Marcel Spears) and Malcolm (Sheaun McKinney).   Dave is desperately trying to fit in with the community.  Will the Johnsons be accepted by everyone?   The series is quite amusing.  Tina as Calvin's wife is fun as she keeps...

The Thing About Pam Weird Egg Productions/Big Picture Co./NBC News Studios/Blumhouse Television NBC #whatonwhatsgood Express Review (by: Jovin Tardif)   "Who doesn't like a true-crime story?  'In The Thing About Pam' Renée Zellweger plays Pam Hupp.  In this particular mystery series, you are told right away who murdered Betsy (Katy Mixon).   But you get to learn how the killer makes others believe that there could be other suspects. This includes Betsy's husband Russ Faria (Glenn Fleshler).   Pam is an interesting character and Zellweger does a fantastic job of playing her. To Catch a Killer FilmNation Entertainment, RainMaker Films Vertical Entertainment Release date April 21, 2023 My Rating 7/10 #whatonwhatsgood Rating 72% #whatonwhatsgood Express Review In 'To Catch a Killer', 29 people are shot and killed on New Year's by a sniper.  Special agent Geoffrey Lammark (Ben Mendelsohn) recruits a young police investigator Eleanor Falco (Shailene Woodley) to help profile an unstable serial killer.  She is also joined by McKenzie (Jovan Adepo).  Eleanor has a history of addiction and has failed at joining the FBI...but Geoffrey Lammark has a good feeling about her. Overall, "To Catch a Killer" is a decent movie.  The opening sequence is quite good.  The mass murderer is a madman rather than a terrorist which I guess is a bit different than your usual action/crime/drama films.  The actual identity of the killer is kept secret until the end of the film making you wonder who is doing these killings.  It's definitely worth a wa...

Eddie Redcliffe (Madeleine Sami) work together to solve the mystery?  It's a whodunnit. Enjoy! Description Deadloch is an eight-part crime comedy. 90th anniversary & Tree Lighting Ceremony  December 09, 2019  by: Jovin Tardif #RYHFestive I attended the Tree Lighting Ceremony and it did not disappoint.  As soon as I walked through the front door, I knew I was in for a treat.  I was greeted by a few elves who guided me towards the Santa experience.  I grabbed a hot chocolate and a cookie and went over to see my good friend Santa.  We posed for a photo and had a very quick but fun conversation.   I walked back through a beautiful setup of the largest gingerbread house that I have ever seen.  Kudos to Executive Chef, JW Foster, and his staff at Fairmont Royal York for their hard work and dedication to building a two-story gingerbread house for the holidays.  It is sensational. A few moments later, I met Hotelier of the Year: Edwin Frizzell.  What a wonderful gentleman.  I shook his hand & applauded the fantastic work at the hotel.  He made me aware that everyone ...
