Shawnee Kish Janes's Party members include Jeff Giles (keys/guitar/vocals), Tom Ionescu (guitar/vocals), Devon Richardson (bass/vocals), and Zach Sutton (drums). New Hockey Night In Canada Theme Song ' Saturday Night '  Shawnee Kish   “Recording vocals on ‘Saturday Night’ was an absolute blast. Singing the lyrics while thinking about the song's job of pumping up each game, hockey fans in the stadium and viewers sitting at home ready for hockey night had me singing all out. Feeling really lucky to be a part of this song and Hockey Night in this way.”  Tom Ionescu (guitar/vocals) “It was quite a wild ride, grabbing Shawnee’s vocals from Alberta, Zach’s drums from LA, Jeff’s vocals and keyboards from Newfoundland, then recording, producing, and assembling the track in Toronto in just two weeks. That kind of timeline gets the blood pumping which was the perfect feeling needed for this ruckus

The Thing About Pam Weird Egg Productions/Big Picture Co./NBC News Studios/Blumhouse Television NBC #whatonwhatsgood Express Review (by: Jovin Tardif)   "Who doesn't like a true-crime story?  'In The Thing About Pam' Renée Zellweger plays Pam Hupp.  In this particular mystery series, you are told right away who murdered Betsy (Katy Mixon).   But you get to learn how the killer makes others believe that there could be other suspects. This includes Betsy's husband Russ Faria (Glenn Fleshler).   Pam is an interesting character and Zellweger does a fantastic job of playing her. If you are a fan of "Why Women Kill" you will probably enjoy this show as well."  Season 1 She's a Good Friend S1, Ep1 8 Mar. 2022 My Rating 7/10 #whatonwhatsgood Fan Club Rating 75% She's a Helper S1, Ep2 15 Mar. 2022 My Rating 7/10 #whatonwhatsgood Fan Club Rating 73% She's a Star Witness S1, Ep3 22 Mar. 2022 My Rating 8/10 #whatonwhatsgood Fan Club Rating 78% She

Help (2021) Ridder Films Release date  02/15/2022 Ratings My Rating: 6/10 #whatonwhatsgood Fan Club Rating: 65% #whatonwhatsgood Express Review (by: Jovin Tardif) After a break-up with her boyfriend Chris (Stuart Wolfe-Murray), Grace (Emily Redpath) goes on a surprise visit to see perfect couple Liv (Sarah Alexandra Marks) and her long-time boyfriend, Edward (Louis James).  They just moved to the country and it's Ed's birthday. During her stay, Grace learns that the relationship seems a bit dodgy and she wonders whether she created the tension between them.  A strange neighbour David (Blake Ridder), who Edward despises, lurks in the background.  What does David know?  Do they all have secrets?  What will we find out about Grace, Liv, and Edward? It's a decent movie.  If you are looking for a little drama in your life, it might be worth a watch.  The overall acting was tolerable.  I wasn't really a fan of the ending. Film Review: Downton Abbey - A New Era (2022)

Image
Downton Abbey - A New Era Carnival Films Focus Features Release date  May 20, 2022 #whatonwhatsgood Express Review: by: Jovin Tardif This is the first time I ever watched Downton Abbey.  My wife is a huge fan.  I asked her to give me some information about the characters before we watched it. In Downton Abbey - A New Era there are a few storylines going on.  One is that a film crew is looking to make a silent movie called "The Gambler" on their property.  Will Lady Mary (Michelle Dockery) allows it?  How do the others feel about this arrangement? Can the staff act appropriately when they see actors Guy Dexter (Dominic West) and Myrna Dalgleish (Laura Haddock) arrive on the property?   Another concern that is addressed is silent films versus “talkies”.  Will director Jack Barber's (Hugh Dancy) need to make changes?  Can Myrna Dalgleish (Laura Haddock) handle the pressure of being in a talkie or is she more suited for silent films?  Will there be drama if things have to

Windfall (2022) High Frequency Entertainment/Cloudbreak Pictures/Mutressa Movies Netflix Release date March 18, 2022 #whatonwhatsgood Express Review (by: Jovin Tardif) "A man (Jason Segel) is robbing the vacation home of a wealthy tech billionaire (CEO - Jesse Plemons).  Before he can escape, he is caught by the CEO and his wife (Lily Collins).  The man freaks out and decides to hold the husband and wife hostage.  Overall, it's a pretty good thriller film.  I felt like I was watching an Alfred Hitchcock movie.  Jesse Plemons does a fantastic job of playing a wealthy/pompous/obnoxious/sarcastic CEO. Lily Collins really shows us how she doesn't have a voice in their marriage and that every aspect of her life is dictated by her husband.  The married couple are an entertaining bunch to watch as they aren't exactly on the same page. For some reason, even though the man is the one robbing them, I kind of felt sorry for him (Jason Segel). Will the couple be able to get a

A dispute over throwing out a confession creates a rift in the DA’s office. Anthony Anderson discusses his character “Detective Kevin Bernard” "Anthony Anderson here aka Detective Kevin Bernard, back for season 21 of Law and Order.  I never thought would happen, but here it is. My character, Detective Kevin Bernard, was introduced on Law and Order SVU 15 years ago. The Tourist Two Brothers Pictures/Highview Productions/All3Media/South Australian Film Corporation/BBC Studios/HBO Max/ZDF/Stan #whatonwhatsgood Express Review (by: Jovin Tardif) "Essentially a man in the Australian Outback gets into a car accident and can't remember anything. He has no ID and no memories.   The real questions are...  Who is he? Will he be able to figure it out? Why are people trying to kill him? I think you will find Jamie Dornan quite interesting in this series. A few funny moments include when his character gets angry when he can't remember Simon & Garfunkel, wondering if he's an alcoholic because he loves the taste of beer, and of course finding out what makes him happy is eating a burrito." Interview with AMERICAN HORROR STORY Naomi Grossman

Image
Interview with AMERICAN HORROR STORY Naomi Grossman Today on #whatonwhatsgood with Jovin Tardif, I am here with Naomi Grossman . You may know Naomi from her role in Ctrl Alt Delete . Grossman also plays "Pepper" on FX's American Horror Story : Asylum & Freak Show. She also appeared as a new character, the Satanist "Samantha Crowe" in the eighth season, Apocalypse. Today, we discuss her new film romantic comedy BITE ME! available now, and much more. 1. What do you love about acting? That’s a really good question.  I have to remind myself of the answer regularly!  Because there’s a lot of things I don’t love about this business.  But at the risk of sounding cheesy, I think it’s just what I was put here to do.  I'm a performer through and through— like us vampires in “Bite Me” get our energy from blood, I get my energy from an audience.  The validation of applause… the gratification of laughter… the knowledge you’ve touched people… it’s intoxicating.  It
