TV Series Review: The Good Doctor

The Good Doctor follows a young man named Shaun Murphy (Freddie Highmore) who happens to have Autism and Savant syndrome.  The series begins with a bit of tension.  Dr. Aaron Glassman (Richard Schiff), Shaun's mentor and paternal figure, is trying to help him get a job as a pediatric surgical resident at San Jose St. Bonaventure Hospital.  The head of surgery, Dr. Horace Andrews (Hill Harper) seems hesitant and give Dr. Glassman an ultimatum.  They will hire Dr. Shaun Murphy but if he fails or messes up, Dr. Glassman has to resign as president and Shaun will be fired.   From episode to episode, Dr. Murphy proves that he belongs.  We also learn a bit about S
