Mighty Oak

Image
Mighty Oak Brookwell-McNamara Entertainment Paramount Pictures Express Review: Mighty Oak The filming by director Sean McNamara was well done. Pay close attention to the crash scene. They did a fantastic job. There were also some great shots of Ocean Beach, California. Now I must say off-the-bat that a few people might find the subject matter a bit different. The idea that a kid could be the reincarnation of someone's brother is a bit farfetched however I see what the writer was trying to do. I want to tip my hat to Tommy Ragen (Oak Scoggins). He had to deal with multiple emotions throughout the movie. When he lashed out at one point during the film, I can totally understand that. If you really think about it Oak had to deal with a lot. In his life, he had a depressed music director, a sick mother, no father figure, and bullying at school. That's a lot to take on as a 10-year-old who only wanted to play music. Thankfully, over time he did develop some great friendships with a

Interview with Matt U Johnson

Interview with musical artist Matt U Johnson We all need an escape right now. Close your eyes and think about a tropical island.  Take a breath. Now let’s focus on all the colourful architecture. Take in all that Vitamin D from the endless sunlight. Can you smell the flowers while walking down the boardwalk? Go ahead dip your toes in the ocean. Are you getting warm? Grab a snack or ice cream. But wait… something is missing. We need music. Something fresh with just the right amount of Pop, R&B, Hip Hop, and reggae along with EDM. Hmmm…I think I found the song for you. “Gwan Get It” ft. Matt U Johnson, Choclair & Sito Rocks. Today on What On What’s Good with Jovin Tardif, my guest is Matt U Johnson. We discuss the past, present, and future. 1. Film Review Minions: The Rise of Gru (2022)

Image
Minions: The Rise of Gru Illumination Universal Pictures Release date  July 1, 2022 Social media #Minions #TheRiseofGru #Illumination Genres Action-Comedy   Steve Carell (Gru) discusses Minions: The Rise of Gru Minions: The Rise of Gru has to do with a young Gru who is trying to assert his dominance as one of the up-and-coming villains in the world. He has an interview with the vicious 6 who are the main villains of the day, to try to join their group. They deny him. So in order to show them what he is worth, he steals this a very important gem. At that point the movie, the movie launches into mayhem.  A true villain is somebody who is ultimately not a very good person. I think at his core Gru is a very good person.  He's a good dad, he's a good husband.   He's a quirky dude. He loves the life of villainy, but in the reality, he's kind of a pussycat.  It's interesting to see sort of the genesis of like what you know where he started, and what he ultimately t
