Archive 81 Atomic Monster Productions/Sonnenshine Productions Netflix #whatonwhatsgood Express Review (by: Jovin Tardif) The drama/horror/mystery series Archive 81 on Netflix is about a video archivist, Dan Turner (Mamoudou Athie) who is hired by CEO, Virgil Davenport (Martin Donovan) to restore a series of old tapes by himself in a secured and isolated compound for 100K.  At first, Dan was hesitant but his friend Mark (Matt McGorry) convinces him to take the job. At the compound, he has no internet access and very little cell reception.  His only job is to uncover what’s on those tapes.   On the recordings, Dan discovers that they are recording of a young woman, Melody Pendras (Dina Shihabi), in 1994 in an apartment called Villers. WeCrashed Zaftig Films / Wondery / Somewhere Pictures / Paradox / Piece of Work Productions / Vorpal Rabbit Apple TV+ #whatonwhatsgood Express Review (by: Jovin Tardif) "The series, 'WeCrashed', is about the rise and fall of 'WeWork' run by the founding trio Israeli creator/entrepreneur Adam Neumann (Jared Leto), architect/co-founder of WeWork Miguel McKelvey (Kyle Marvin), and Neumann’s wife Rebekah Paltrow-Neumann (Anne Hathaway).   WeWork's business model is based on "community". Bel-Air Season 1 No. of episodes: 10 #whatonwhatsgood Express Review (by: Jovin Tardif) Bel-Air is a dramatic version of the '90s comedy sitcom 'The Fresh Prince of Bel Air'.  It's about a young Will Smith who has to go to L.A. because of some issues happening in Philadelphia.  Just like in the original series, Will (Jabari Banks) has to get used to his new surroundings with his wealthy family in Los Angeles.  The series is interesting and they made some adjustments to the characters. Uncle Phil (Adrian Holmes) is slightly different in this show.  He's strict but fair.  He also has a few secrets. Aunt Vivian (Cassandra Freeman) plays a similar role to the 90's sitcom where she helps everyone try to accomplish their goals and become successful.  The only difference in this show is that she used to paint and she stopped doing it to help Uncle Phil with his political career. Inventing Anna Shondaland Netflix #whatonwhatsgood Express Review (by: Jovin Tardif) It was a bit silly but for some reason, I binged all nine episodes and I'm sure you will do the same. Inventing Anna tells the story of Anna Sorokin, a.k.a. Anna Delvey.   Anna is known as the woman who swindled New York’s elite out of more than $200,000.  She told everyone that she was a wealthy German heiress and that she wanted to start her own foundation.   We later learn that she didn't have a penny to her name. Reporter Vivian Kent (Anna Chlumsky) with some occasional assistance from co-workers Maud (Anna Deavere Smith), Lou (Jeff Perry), and Barry (Terry Kinney) spend 9 episodes trying to figure out who Anna is through interviews with friends and acquaintances.  My only comment is that I didn't really like Ozark’s Julia Garner accent as Anna Delvey.  However, at the same time, if she was tricking everyone maybe that's the reason she had such a unique acc...

The Thing About Pam Weird Egg Productions/Big Picture Co./NBC News Studios/Blumhouse Television NBC #whatonwhatsgood Express Review (by: Jovin Tardif)   "Who doesn't like a true-crime story?  'In The Thing About Pam' Renée Zellweger plays Pam Hupp.  In this particular mystery series, you are told right away who murdered Betsy (Katy Mixon).   But you get to learn how the killer makes others believe that there could be other suspects. This includes Betsy's husband Russ Faria (Glenn Fleshler).   Pam is an interesting character and Zellweger does a fantastic job of playing her.
