Her goal was to create a blood diagnostic technology that will be able to run hundreds of tests on a single drop of blood.  Her technology never worked.   I must say, Amanda Seyfried does an amazing portrayal of Elizabeth Holmes.  The story allows you to see Holmes in high school, as a college freshman, and eventually a businesswoman. Becky (Erin Doherty) has a stressful life.  She is struggling with getting work, is low on funds, and dealing with a mother with dementia. In her spare time, she goes on her phone to keep an eye on social media.  She visits Instagram to essentially compare herself to others.  One of her favourites on Instagram is Chloe. One day, Becky (who likes to visit Chloe's Instagram account and is her most dedicated social media follower) finds out that Chloe dies.
