"The TV Special features American stand-up comedian, actor, and filmmaker Jerrod Carmichael in a standup comedy show at the legendary Blue Note Jazz Club in New York City.

Make sure to check out Jerrod Carmichael Rothaniel on HBO Max.  What an experience.  Am I the only one that thought that it was not only funny but it felt you were watching a therapy session? I love that the audience got involved with the show.  Loved it!

If you haven't already you might also want to check out other releases by Jerrod Carmichael stand-up comedy specials HBO: Love at the Store (2014) and 8 (2017).  He also has an NBC sitcom called The Carmichael Show (2015–2017)."

Along with reporter Jean Cole, McLaughlin challenged the sexism of the era, pursuing the story at personal risk and uncovering corruption that cast doubt on the identity of the strangler. #whatonwhatsgood Express Review The Boston Strangler murdered 13 women in the Boston, Massachusetts area in the 1960s.  The Boston Strangler movie follows Loretta McLaughlin (Keira Knightley) and fellow reporter Jean Cole (Carrie Coon) who are trying to get the story out about who is doing these crimes.   Unfortunately, they are met with many challenges from men in order to tell their narrative. Anna told a lot of stories...but which one's were true?   There's an interview near the end of her life, where she claims that her mother abused and sexually assaulted her.  Was this true?  In this documentary, we learn that Anna took this story from her best friend during Anna’s stripper days in Houston.  It's a decent film but it makes you wonder did we really know the true story of Anna Nicole Smith?!? The Swimmers Working Title Films Netflix My Rating 6/10 #whatonwhatsgood Fan Club Rating  65% #whatonwhatsgood The Swimmers Express Review There's a war in Syria and Syrian swimmer Yusra Mardini (Nathalie Issa) and her sister, Sara (Manal Issa) decided they needed to leave.  The film is really about survival.  Can these girls really make it to Germany without being harmed?  What will they need to do to get out of Syria safely?      Overall, I think director Sally El Hosaini's' The Swimmers' did a fantastic job of telling this inspirational, heartfelt, and emotional true story.   The film really shows what Yusra and Sara had to overcome along the way.  The only flaw I saw in the movie was that I thought they rushed Yusra's journey to make it to the 2016 Rio Olympics.  Release dates September 8, 2022 (TIFF) November 11, 2022  November 23, 2022 (Netflix) Directed by Sally El Hosaini Screenplay by Sally El Hosaini an...

In 2020, following a controversial trial that unveiled an intricate web of romance, she was convicted of murdering her partner with the help of an ex-lover. Express Review Rosa Peral, a police officer and mother of two daughters, was convicted of murdering her partner, Pedro Rodríguez. Rosa insists that it was her former lover, Albert López, who had committed the murder.  Albert claims that Rosa was the mastermind of this crime.  The jury however sentenced Rosa to 25 years in prison.  In this documentary, you get to hear Rosa Peral’s side of the story in an interview from prison.  You also see clips from the actual trial and hear from Rosa Peral’s defense attorney, the prosecutor, and several journalists.
