#whatonwhatsgood Express Review (by: Jovin Tardif | What On What's Good)

Dante (Brian O’Halloran) is still at the Quick Stop after all these years and Randal (Jeff Anderson) works alongside him at the register.

After having a heart attack, Randal (Jeff Anderson) decides he wants to make a movie about life at the Quick Stop.

Randal starts casting for the film but decides however that he would rather make the movie with Dante (Brian O’Halloran), Elias (Trevor Fehrman), Jay (Jason Mewes), Silent Bob (Kevin Smith) and others.  Can the group of friends create a masterpiece?

I found the movie to be quite decent.  There was some pretty funny moments.  I particularly liked Brian O'Halloran's performance.  There is a lot of drama in his character Dante.  You finally get to know a little bit more about how's he has been dealing with things emotionally all these years.

Austin Zajur who plays Blockchain Coltrane discusses Clerks

I'm just super grateful and excited to be in the Clerks universe.  My character is very disgustingly into Crypto.  He started out as a very Christian kid, who is yeah, is a very timid, sensitive soul who basically goes on a trajectory of trying to figure out what Satanism is, even though he never knows what it is.  He's Elias's best friend.

Brian O'Halloran who plays Dante Hicks discusses Clerks

The very first one I mean 28 years ago. For God's sake, we're very blessed to get them all back.  If you were with us from the very beginning, from 28 years ago, and you followed us on this journey, where the first film was like you know, these guys are in their twentys. They have their whole future ahead of them.  They don't know what to do.

The second movie was they're in their thirties, mid-thirties, and they're like, Oh, my God!  My youth is going by What am I going to do?

And then this one is Life is going along and something kind of hits you.  That life just to hit you all at one time And how are you going to make the changes, and how you're going to adjust?

We're in the actual quick stop yet again.   The only thing that changed in that store was that the adult Magazine racks changed from adult magazine racks to you know, weed pipes and vape pens and stuff.

Danny Trejo discusses Clerks

If you're in a bad mood, come watch this movie.

Harley Quinn Smith discusses Clerks

When you can tell that a filmmaker is so passionate about what they're doing, it just makes it even more energetic when we're working together.  I just feel like we're working together as friends.

This is a movie made for the fans.

Jeff Anderson who plays Randal Graves discusses Clerks

It's going to be nice to finally have something new to talk about.  We've talked about clerks and clerks II, for so many years.

We've done these movies like 10 and 15 years of part.

We keep sort of jumping into their lives at odd times in their twenties, in their thirtys, and now 40'S and 50'S.

Randall has finally decided to do something with himself.  Prove it's never too late.

Kate Micucci discusses Clerks

Clerks and Kevin mean so much to so many New Jerseyians. It was just a thrill for me, especially just to go to the Jersey shore for a little while and to dance as a cow.

Kevin Smith who plays Silent Bob discusses Clerks

I've been trying to make this movie for the better part of 10 years.  So last year, this time when we were in New Jersey, we started the movie on my 51st birthday.  It was like Fantasy Camp. We got to go back to where it all began to literally be in the same place where we were doing the same things 29 years, prior to literally saying some of the same stuff.

I hope, when the audience leaves clerks 3, they should go home and try some stuff that they've always wanted to try in life.

Cinematographer Learan Kahanov discusses Clerks

It's the third and third in the line of a cult classic. So it's a lot of pressure.

I think, that there's a certain maturity that people want to see.

There's just there's a lot of heart in the movie, but there's a lot of what everyone expects.

Marilyn Ghigliotti who plays Veronica Loughran discusses Clerks

I'm really excited.

In the first film, she had it all together at least it looked that way.  She was trying to get Dante to do better for himself as well.
