Untold: The Girlfriend Who Didn’t Exist #whatonwhatsgood Express Review (by: Jovin Tardif | What On What's Good)

If you have seen the show "catfish" on MTV you will understand what happened to American football linebacker Manti Te’o.

Manti was trying to make it to the NFL.  In his senior year, Te'o announced in the news that his grandmother and girlfriend, both died on the same day.

However, sports blog Deadspin informs the world that Te’o’s dead girlfriend never actually existed.

The new Netflix documentary "Untold: The Girlfriend Who Didn’t Exist" checks in with all of those involved in this huge story that happened ten years ago.

Who was Manti's girlfriend of three years?  How was Te’o fooled by someone he met on Facebook?

It is a very captivating documentary.

I'm sure Manti Te’o’s career would have played out quite differently if he didn't get involved in this online relationship.
