#whatonwhatsgood Express Review (by: Jovin Tardif | What On What's Good)

Dr. Suzanne Mathis (Emily Deschanel) decides to bring Mae (Madeleine Arthur), into her home with her lovely family that includes her husband Peter Mathis (Sam Jaeger) and daughters Jules (Xaria Dotson), Helen (Alisha Newton) and Dani (Naomi Tan).     

Suzanne wanted to help her out even though she knows very little about her past.  One thing is for sure, Mae has a pentagon carved on her back.  

Was she tortured by her family?

As the story unfolds, we start learning about her past including where she is from (Amon County) and some more information about her family.  

Mae starts to get more and more comfortable with Suzanne’s perfect family.  Is Mae really a troubled young girl? What will we learn about her personality?  

I must say, the ending to Devil in Ohio was quite interesting.

Bel-Air Season 1 No. of episodes: 10 #whatonwhatsgood Express Review (by: Jovin Tardif) Bel-Air is a dramatic version of the '90s comedy sitcom 'The Fresh Prince of Bel Air'.  It's about a young Will Smith who has to go to L.A. because of some issues happening in Philadelphia.  Just like in the original series, Will (Jabari Banks) has to get used to his new surroundings with his wealthy family in Los Angeles.  The series is interesting and they made some adjustments to the characters. Uncle Phil (Adrian Holmes) is slightly different in this show.  He's strict but fair.  He also has a few secrets. Aunt Vivian (Cassandra Freeman) plays a similar role to the 90's sitcom where she helps everyone try to accomplish their goals and become successful.  The only difference in this show is that she used to paint and she stopped doing it to help Uncle Phil with his political career. Inventing Anna Shondaland Netflix #whatonwhatsgood Express Review (by: Jovin Tardif) It was a bit silly but for some reason, I binged all nine episodes and I'm sure you will do the same. Inventing Anna tells the story of Anna Sorokin, a.k.a. Anna Delvey.   Anna is known as the woman who swindled New York’s elite out of more than $200,000.  She told everyone that she was a wealthy German heiress and that she wanted to start her own foundation.   We later learn that she didn't have a penny to her name. Reporter Vivian Kent (Anna Chlumsky) with some occasional assistance from co-workers Maud (Anna Deavere Smith), Lou (Jeff Perry), and Barry (Terry Kinney) spend 9 episodes trying to figure out who Anna is through interviews with friends and acquaintances.  My only comment is that I didn't really like Ozark’s Julia Garner accent as Anna Delvey.  However, at the same time, if she was tricking everyone maybe that's the reason she had such a unique acc...

This includes Betsy's husband Russ Faria (Glenn Fleshler).   Pam is an interesting character and Zellweger does a fantastic job of playing her.
