Interview with Ultimate Cowboy Showdown contestant Chris Becker

The newest season of Ultimate Cowboy Showdown will air on INSP starting on Thursday, April 21st at 8PM ET (10 episodes).  I wanted to introduce you to some of the new contestants. Today on #whatonwhatsgood with Jovin Tardif, I am here with Ultimate Cowboy Showdown contestant Chris Becker.

1. Can you tell us a little about yourself?

Chris Becker: I’m a 28-year-old self-made cattle business owner, and I have a beautiful wife and two wonderful kids. We bought our land in 2015 with a small number of cattle, and we have built it to over 350 cattle a year. 

2. What made you decide to be part of this reality series?

Chris Becker: The opportunity for $50,000 in cattle would give my family the chance to grow our cattle operation, and it would be a big jump forward in life. 

3. How did it feel to be picked for the show?

Chris Becker: It was a privilege to know that I was being given the opportunity to compete with other top cowboys in the nation.

4. Ultimate Cowboy Showdown is hosted by country music icon Trace Adkins.  What was it like working with him and meeting him?

Chris Becker: It was great getting to be beside one of country music’s biggest artists.

5. What do you feel are some characteristics needed to be an ultimate cowboy?

Chris Becker: Be confident in your leadership roles and don’t be afraid to jump out to prove you have what it takes.

6. What would you say is one of the toughest cowboy skills to learn and why?

Chris Becker: I think learning how to make money living the cowboy lifestyle and becoming successful is one of the toughest skills. 

7. In your opinion, what can we learn from watching Ultimate Cowboy Showdown?

Chris Becker: I think viewers can learn that there are many different styles of cowboying across the U.S.

TV Series Review: Bel-air (2022)

Bel-Air Season 1 No. of episodes: 10 #whatonwhatsgood Express Review (by: Jovin Tardif) Bel-Air is a dramatic version of the '90s comedy sitcom 'The Fresh Prince of Bel Air'.  It's about a young Will Smith who has to go to L.A. because of some issues happening in Philadelphia.  Just like in the original series, Will (Jabari Banks) has to get used to his new surroundings with his wealthy family in Los Angeles.  The series is interesting and they made some adjustments to the characters. Uncle Phil (Adrian Holmes) is slightly different in this show.  He's strict but fair.  He also has a few secrets. Aunt Vivian (Cassandra Freeman) plays a similar role to the 90's sitcom where she helps everyone try to accomplish their goals and become successful.  The only difference in this show is that she used to paint and she stopped doing it to help Uncle Phil with his political career.
