35 years after the shocking murder of three teens, the infamous “Sweet Sixteen Killer“ returns on Halloween night to claim a fourth victim. 17-year-old Jamie (Kiernan Shipka) ignores her overprotective mom’s (Julie Bowen) warning and comes face to face with the masked maniac and on the run for her life, accidentally time travels back to 1987, the year of the original killings. Forced to navigate the unfamiliar and outrageous culture of the 1980s, Jamie teams up with her teen mom (Olivia Holt) to take down the killer once and for all before she’s stuck in the past forever.

Her goal was to create a blood diagnostic technology that will be able to run hundreds of tests on a single drop of blood. Her technology never worked. I must say, Amanda Seyfried does an amazing portrayal of Elizabeth Holmes. The story allows you to see Holmes in high school, as a college freshman, and eventually a businesswoman. I kept wondering if the NBA players were actually as bad as people said, or if the media made them look worse than they were. Some players did have real problems off the court. Rasheed Wallace sometimes got into trouble, and Damon Stoudamire also had issues, including marijuana charges. That’s why the team got the nickname “Jail Blazers” during the late 1990s and early 2000s. The name came from a lot of off-court problems like drug possession, legal issues, and heated moments with referees. There were serious incidents, too.
