35 years after the shocking murder of three teens, the infamous “Sweet Sixteen Killer“ returns on Halloween night to claim a fourth victim. 17-year-old Jamie (Kiernan Shipka) ignores her overprotective mom’s (Julie Bowen) warning and comes face to face with the masked maniac and on the run for her life, accidentally time travels back to 1987, the year of the original killings. Forced to navigate the unfamiliar and outrageous culture of the 1980s, Jamie teams up with her teen mom (Olivia Holt) to take down the killer once and for all before she’s stuck in the past forever.

Nahnatchka Khan discusses Totally Killer
"It's Back to the
Future, but with a serial killer twist, and getting to go back in time and do some of those kills, eighties-style, I thought it was so smart and clever. And I knew I wanted to bring in the sort of true crime craze that's been going on, where people would have dedicated podcasts to the Sweet Sixteen Killer and crime timelines."
"The movie is a fun rollercoaster for everybody"
"It's communal, something that's fun to experience with friends, family, however you watch."
"There's something for everybody in there, it's a good time. Hopefully, people enjoy this because we definitely enjoyed making it."
Jason Blum discusses Totally Killer
"The time travel element makes this unique and really fun"
"There’s 80s easter eggs like the fashion and music in the movie for people like me who lived through those years, but also for that generation who have seen the John Hughes movies, and movies like Heathers, A Nightmare on Elm Street, and Back to the Future or watched them with their parents.
Kiernan Shipka discusses Totally Killer
"The script was so fun, vibrant and lively, kind of that popcorn candy-type of movie where you want to be strapped in and attached to these characters"
"Jamie's a modern teenager, but also flawed and not thinking about the big picture of her life quite yet. She's smart but spends too much time on her phone, listens to a ton of music, but is in that floaty sort of space in her life where she's not thinking about things on a grand scale, and then this tragic, life-altering thing happens. I really loved that she has a real arc and awakening throughout the movie as to what really matters."
Kelcey Mawema discusses Totally Killer
"I loved the way they wrote Amelia"
"She's a science nerd but she's cool, not a stereotype. She's a really good friend too, selfless. I was the biology kid in school, so I had a little me in there for sure."

I Like Movies VHS Forever Mongrel Media Release date September 9, 2022 (TIFF) SYNOPSIS Toronto writer/director Chandler Levack makes her feature film debut with I Like Movies, a dramedy based on her experience working at a Blockbuster Video in the early 2000s. Socially inept, Lawrence (Isaiah Lehtinen) is a 17-year-old cinephile who gets a job at the Sequels video store in Burlington, Ontario. Anxious about his future (and desire to attend NYU’s Tisch School of Arts), Lawrence begins alienating the most important people in his life – his best friend (Percy Hynes White) and his single mother (Krista Bridges) – all the while developing a complicated friendship with his older female manager (Romina D’Ugo). Sequels is furnished with props from a real Blockbuster, while the store’s branded colour scheme of red and teal reoccurs throughout the film. The film is rife with references to Canada (Carleton, Cronenberg) and cinema (mentioned in almost every sentence that Lawrence utters!).
Deadloch Amazon Studios, OK Great Productions, Guesswork Television Amazon Prime Video #whatonwhatsgood Express Review Deadloch is an Australian comedy/crime show. It is set in a town called Deadloch, Tasmania. In the first episode, Trent Latham (Barry Wheeler) is found naked and dead on a beach. The question is can Sergeant Dulcie Collins (Kate Box) and Det. Eddie Redcliffe (Madeleine Sami) work together to solve the mystery? It's a whodunnit. Enjoy! Description Deadloch is an eight-part crime comedy. When a local man turns up dead on a beach, two vastly different detectives are thrown together to solve the case. You may have recently seen Adele in her first big television debut in the second season of STAR TREK: PICARD. In our #cinqque5tion interview, we discuss STAR TREK: PICARD, her background in dance & performing arts, how she got into film acting, and much more. 1. Do you have any fun behind-the-scenes for your first big television debut in the second season of STAR TREK: PICARD? Yes, of course! There is always something going on BTS that you never plan on. At the time, I was getting back in shape for The Nutcracker tour with Anaheim ballet. So my favorite moment would be in between shots. I was doing a ballet barre or some sort of workout. This ultimately led to a fun conversation with Michelle Hurd when she noticed me stretching my leg over my head while sitting at the helm between shots. She informed me her sister is a dancer also!
