Description

Eddie Murphy stars in this holiday comedy adventure about a man on a mission to win his neighborhood’s annual Christmas home decoration contest. After Chris (Eddie Murphy) inadvertently makes a deal with a mischievous elf named Pepper (Jillian Bell) to better his chances of winning, she casts a magic spell that brings the 12 Days of Christmas to life and wreaks havoc on the whole town. At the risk of ruining the holidays for his family, Chris, his wife Carol (Tracee Ellis Ross), and their three children must race against the clock to break Pepper’s spell, battle deviously magical characters and save Christmas for everyone.

Archive 81 Atomic Monster Productions/Sonnenshine Productions Netflix #whatonwhatsgood Express Review (by: Jovin Tardif) The drama/horror/mystery series Archive 81 on Netflix is about a video archivist, Dan Turner (Mamoudou Athie) who is hired by CEO, Virgil Davenport (Martin Donovan) to restore a series of old tapes by himself in a secured and isolated compound for 100K.  At first, Dan was hesitant but his friend Mark (Matt McGorry) convinces him to take the job. At the compound, he has no internet access and very little cell reception.  His only job is to uncover what’s on those tapes.   On the recordings, Dan discovers that they are recording of a young woman, Melody Pendras (Dina Shihabi), in 1994 in an apartment called Villers. Bel-Air Season 1 No. of episodes: 10 #whatonwhatsgood Express Review (by: Jovin Tardif) Bel-Air is a dramatic version of the '90s comedy sitcom 'The Fresh Prince of Bel Air'.  It's about a young Will Smith who has to go to L.A. because of some issues happening in Philadelphia.  Just like in the original series, Will (Jabari Banks) has to get used to his new surroundings with his wealthy family in Los Angeles.  The series is interesting and they made some adjustments to the characters. Uncle Phil (Adrian Holmes) is slightly different in this show.  He's strict but fair.  He also has a few secrets. Aunt Vivian (Cassandra Freeman) plays a similar role to the 90's sitcom where she helps everyone try to accomplish their goals and become successful.  The only difference in this show is that she used to paint and she stopped doing it to help Uncle Phil with his political career. Inventing Anna tells the story of Anna Sorokin, a.k.a. Anna Delvey.   Anna is known as the woman who swindled New York’s elite out of more than $200,000.  She told everyone that she was a wealthy German heiress and that she wanted to start her own foundation.   We later learn that she didn't have a penny to her name. Reporter Vivian Kent (Anna Chlumsky) with some occasional assistance from co-workers Maud (Anna Deavere Smith), Lou (Jeff Perry), and Barry (Terry Kinney) spend 9 episodes trying to figure out who Anna is through interviews with friends and acquaintances.  My only comment is that I didn't really like Ozark’s Julia Garner accent as Anna Delvey.  However, at the same time, if she was tricking everyone maybe that's the reason she had such a unique acc...

This includes Betsy's husband Russ Faria (Glenn Fleshler).   Pam is an interesting character and Zellweger does a fantastic job of playing her.
