Simon Pegg discusses his character Buck "He's a bit of a loner. He has a thin grip on reality and he tends to talk to a lot of inanimate objects. He didn't have many friends certainly in the initial stages. I love playing Buck because he's such an energetic character. He's so positive and funny and he is an absolute riot to play. Throughout the film, you learn how these group of characters navigate their way through the changing world of cinema. Overall, not a bad film.  I think my favourite character is Manuel Torres (Diego Calva).  I particularly enjoyed watching him go from a nobody to a Hollywood studio executive.
