Description

In a cursed town, the annual harvest becomes a brutal battle for survival. On Halloween 1963, Sawtooth Jack, a terrifying legend, rises from the cornfields, threatening the town's children. Groups of boys unite to defeat the murderous scarecrow before midnight. Richie, a rebellious outcast, joins the run, motivated by his brother's previous victory. As the hunt progresses, Richie makes a shocking discovery and faces a pivotal choice to break the relentless cycle.

Untold: Chess Mates is a documentary film releasing on April 7, 2026. #whatonwhatgood Express Review by: Jovin Tardif I watched this documentary and really enjoyed it. It tells the story of Magnus Carlsen, one of the greatest chess players of all time, and Hans Niemann, a young, rising chess star who became famous online. The film shows how Niemann surprised the chess world by beating Carlsen at the 2022 Sinquefield Cup, sparking widespread controversy and accusations of cheating.  After that, Niemann worked hard to rebuild his reputation and return to top-level chess, paving the way for a rematch with Carlsen in 2024.  The real question is: did he actually cheat? I kept wondering if the NBA players were actually as bad as people said, or if the media made them look worse than they were. Some players did have real problems off the court. Rasheed Wallace sometimes got into trouble, and Damon Stoudamire also had issues, including marijuana charges. That’s why the team got the nickname “Jail Blazers” during the late 1990s and early 2000s. The name came from a lot of off-court problems like drug possession, legal issues, and heated moments with referees. There were serious incidents, too. Ruben Patterson pleaded guilty to attempted rape in 2001, and Qyntel Woods was involved in an animal abuse case. There were also problems inside the team. It is set in a town called Deadloch, Tasmania.  In the first episode, Trent Latham (Barry Wheeler) is found naked and dead on a beach.  The question is can Sergeant Dulcie Collins (Kate Box) and Det. Eddie Redcliffe (Madeleine Sami) work together to solve the mystery?  It's a whodunnit. Enjoy! Description Deadloch is an eight-part crime comedy. When a local man turns up dead on a beach, two vastly different detectives are thrown together to solve the case. Becky (Erin Doherty) has a stressful life.  She is struggling with getting work, is low on funds, and dealing with a mother with dementia. In her spare time, she goes on her phone to keep an eye on social media.  She visits Instagram to essentially compare herself to others.  One of her favourites on Instagram is Chloe. One day, Becky (who likes to visit Chloe's Instagram account and is her most dedicated social media follower) finds out that Chloe dies. Untold: The Death & Life of Lamar Odom is releasing in Canada on March 31, 2026. It is about what happened in 2015 when Lamar Odom was found unresponsive at a brothel near Las Vegas. The documentary shares new information, personal stories, and interviews with Lamar Odom, Khloé Kardashian, and others close to him. It goes back to that night and explains the struggles and pressure he was facing. Lamar Odom had a complicated past and wanted to be famous. The film makes you think about the choices he made and whether they led him in the right direction. It also shows how his addictions caused him a lot of trouble in his life. Overall, I thought it was an eye-opening documentary that shows both the highs and lows of his life.
