Description

In this documentary film, former police agent Rosa Peral gives her first interview from prison. In 2020, following a controversial trial that unveiled an intricate web of romance, she was convicted of murdering her partner with the help of an ex-lover.

Express Review

Rosa Peral, a police officer and mother of two daughters, was convicted of murdering her partner, Pedro Rodríguez.

Rosa insists that it was her former lover, Albert López, who had committed the murder.  Albert claims that Rosa was the mastermind of this crime.  The jury however sentenced Rosa to 25 years in prison. 

In this documentary, you get to hear Rosa Peral’s side of the story in an interview from prison.  You also see clips from the actual trial and hear from Rosa Peral’s defense attorney, the prosecutor, and several journalists.

The documentary leaves you wondering if Rosa killed her partner Pedro alone or if her ex-lover Albert helped her.

It tells the story of Magnus Carlsen, one of the greatest chess players of all time, and Hans Niemann, a young, rising chess star who became famous online. The film shows how Niemann surprised the chess world by beating Carlsen at the 2022 Sinquefield Cup, sparking widespread controversy and accusations of cheating.  After that, Niemann worked hard to rebuild his reputation and return to top-level chess, paving the way for a rematch with Carlsen in 2024.  The real question is: did he actually cheat?
