#whatonwhatsgood Express Review
In the horror/comedy film ‘Studio 666’, rock band the Foo Fighters are looking for a place to record their tenth album. They find out about a place in Encino, Los Angeles. Apparently, this is a place where you can find the perfect sound...but at what cost?
Grohl is excited about this place.
When they arrive on location, however, Dave Grohl starts to struggle to make music and things start to get extremely weird. I must say, this is a ridiculous horror film.
The acting in this film isn’t amazing but you do get some funny cameos with Lionel Richie, Will Forte, Whitney Cummings, Jenna Ortega, and others.
I have to admit, I did laugh a few times with Grohl's over-the-top character.
Unfortunately, I felt that the movie ran quite long. Studio 666 isn't a masterpiece but if you are looking for a laid-back/silly movie to watch this might be right up your alley.
