It is set in a town called Deadloch, Tasmania.  In the first episode, Trent Latham (Barry Wheeler) is found naked and dead on a beach.  The question is can Sergeant Dulcie Collins (Kate Box) and Det. Eddie Redcliffe (Madeleine Sami) work together to solve the mystery?  It's a whodunnit. Enjoy! Description Deadloch is an eight-part crime comedy. Make sure to check out Jerrod Carmichael Rothaniel on HBO Max.  What an experience.  Am I the only one that thought that it was not only funny but it felt you were watching a therapy session? I love that the audience got involved with the show.  Loved it! He thinks that it would be a great story for his podcast to go and find out about what happened to this girl.  He ends up falling in love with a girl that he never knew.  My initial thoughts when I read the script were that this is the most brilliant script I've read in 10 years, I was excited that it came from my friend B. J. Novak.   I think, Quentin, my character, represents the subtle pursuit of fame through arts and storytelling. I was blown away by working with B. J.
