Producer Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas discusses what she hopes audiences will take away from the film

"I hope this movie gives people hope, gives them a few laughs, gives them a song that's stuck in their head like it's stuck in our head."

Producer Jennifer Lopez discusses her character "Kat Valdez"

"I play Kat Valdez. She's a superstar. A global kind of superstar. She's confident. She's a businesswoman. She's a boss, and also she's just a regular person. She's a regular girl who gets lonely and who needs love, and who wants to feel like she has a home."

John Bradley discusses his character "Collin Calloway" and Kat's relationship

"It's not just a case of Colin working for Kat...he's also a confidant and a friend. It's just interesting to see how Colin can kind of straddle those two things and be whatever Kat needs whenever she needs it. Going above and beyond just the call of duty and being a real friend to her."

Director Kat Coiro discusses "Marry Me"

"There's a level of fantasy to this movie, you know, of this normal every man, Charlie Gilbert being picked by this huge celebrity and kind of coming into this lavish world of excess, sparkles, beauty, and wealth. But there's also a peeling back of the curtain, and seeing how hard this world can be, and how lonely, and how you can be surrounded by people, and being kind of dragged along by other people's expectations of what they need from you, and what they want from you."

Maluma discusses his character "Bastian"

Whoa, my character in the movie...Bastian...well he's amazing. He's a lover who loves life.  He loves his music and his career. Bastian is in love with Kat but feels the pressure and makes wrong decisions.

Michelle Buteau discusses her character "Melissa"

"Melissa is Kat's assistant and also a longtime friend.  She's outspoken for an assistant and very sassy. It was a stretch to play.

Melissa constantly questions Kat and judges Charlie.  It makes Kat realize maybe she needs someone like Charlie."

Owen Wilson discusses his character "Charlie Gilbert"

"Kat has to pick between two worlds. I'm a teacher with a simple life and then this other world of superstardom with Bastian."

Sarah Silverman discusses "Charlie Gilbert" and her character "Parker Debbs"

"Charlie's laid back and so kind. Parker is also a teacher. She's a peer of his. She loves the pop culture world. She's tough and kind of mean to Charlie. Hopefully, you know that it's with love."
