I attended a media preview of the Toronto Cider Festival (https://www.torontociderfestival.com/) on Thursday, August 4 from 5-7pm at Hotel X Toronto - Valerie Restaurant, 27th Floor.

Special guests included DJ D-Smooth, Juno Award winner and Golden Buzzer Winner at Canada’s Got Talent Stacey Kay, Jade Hilton, Flair Bartending by @cdbartending & art by @chia.fonseca

The opening weekend will be on August 26 & 27 at Toronto Inukshuk Park by the waterfront

Dates: August 26th and 27th, 2022

Opening Friday, August 26, 2022 at 5 p.m. until 11 p.m.

Saturday, August 27: 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. EST and 5 p.m. - 11 p.m. EST

The Man from Toronto (2022) Columbia Pictures, Bron Creative, Escape Artists Netflix Release date June 24, 2022 #whatonwhatsgood Express Review (by: Jovin Tardif) The Man From Toronto is a decent action flick.  I must say Kevin Hart and Woody Harrelson work very well together in this action-comedy film. Basically in this movie, you have a case of mistaken identity. Let's just say that Teddy Jackson (Kevin Hart), an out of work gym membership salesman, walked into the wrong room and now everyone thinks he is the world’s deadliest killer,  “The Man from Toronto”. (MFT)  What will happen when "The Man from Toronto" (Woody Harrelson) meets Teddy?    The other cast members (Kaley Cuoco, Jasmine Mathews, Lela Loren, Pierson Fode, Jencarlos Canela, and Ellen Barkin) really add some excitement to the storyline.   Let's hope Hart and Harrelson can team up again on another adventure. Gemma (Beth Behrs) got a new job as a school principal in L.A. Dave Johnson (Max Greenfield) is just about the friendliest guy in the world.  I don't think anyone can dislike him.  Well one person can... They have a pretty opinionated next-door neighbor, the grouchy mechanic Calvin Butler (Cedric the Entertainer).  He has a wife named Tina (Tichina Arnold) and two sons Marty (Marcel Spears) and Malcolm (Sheaun McKinney).   Dave is desperately trying to fit in with the community.  Will the Johnsons be accepted by everyone?   The series is quite amusing.  Tina as Calvin's wife is fun as she keeps...

The Tinder Swindler Raw TV Netflix Ratings My Rating: 7/10 #whatonwhatsgood Fan Club Rating: 75% #whatonwhatsgood Express Review (by: Jovin Tardif) An interesting true-crime documentary that shows how conman Simon Leviev swindled women out of millions of dollars by using dating app Tinder.  One of the dozen women conned by The Tinder Swindler is Cecilie Fjellhøy. She explains what happens to her in this film. Director Felicity Morris’ flick really showed how someone can convince others online that they are someone they are not.  Leviev made an estimated $10m from deceiving women worldwide.  I must say after watching The Tinder Swindler you may think twice about dating apps.  That one swipe to the right could change your life. Cullen killed over forty people over a fifteen-year period across several hospitals.  The question is why is he doing it?   Overall, I liked The Good Nurse.  Great performances by Jessica Chastain and Eddie Redmayne. No Exit 20th Century Studios Hulu Release date February 25, 2022 Ratings My Rating: 7/10 #whatonwhatsgood Rating 67% #whatonwhatsgood Express Review (by: Jovin Tardif) At the beginning of 'No Exit', you are first introduced to Darby (Hannah Rose Liu).  She is in drug rehab.  When she learns her mother is in the hospital, she decides to break out, steal a car and drive to Salt Lake City.  A blizzard forces her to pull over at a state park visitors center. This is where we meet Ed (Dennis Haysbert), Sandi (Dale Dickey), Lars (David Rysdahl), and Ash (Danny Ramirez).  Ed is a former marine.   Sandi is a nurse.   Ash is a pretty laid-back guy.  He seems approachable. Lars is a bit of an oddball and social outcast.
