SYNOPSIS

In Elegance Bratton's deeply moving film inspired by his own story, a young, gay Black man, rejected by his mother and with few options for his future, decides to join the Marines, doing whatever it takes to succeed in a system that would cast him aside. But even as he battles deep-seated prejudice and the grueling routines of basic training, he finds unexpected camaraderie, strength, and support in this new community, giving him a hard-earned sense of belonging that will shape his identity and forever change his life.

Muted Alea Media Netflix #whatonwhatgood Express Review Muted (El Silencio) is a crime-mystery-drama series. It follows Sergio Ciscar who murdered his parents and was incarcerated for 6 years.  Since then, he hasn't said a word. Once he leaves jail, the authorities still want to keep an eye on him.  They want to know if he is a danger to society and why he murdered his parents.  Will they figure out what really happened? Overall, it was a decent story.  If you need something to binge, 'Muted' is an interesting watch. Description Sergio Ciscar is released from prison 6 years after having killed his parents when he was still underaged. During that time, Sergio hasn’t said a word nor has collaborated with the justice system, so the motivations for the crime and the intentions he has by now are a mystery. Becky (Erin Doherty) has a stressful life.  She is struggling with getting work, is low on funds, and dealing with a mother with dementia. In her spare time, she goes on her phone to keep an eye on social media.  She visits Instagram to essentially compare herself to others.  One of her favourites on Instagram is Chloe. One day, Becky (who likes to visit Chloe's Instagram account and is her most dedicated social media follower) finds out that Chloe dies. Apparently, she committed suicide and Becky wants to know why ...
