Buster made a promise to Crystal that he will produce a sci-fi show featuring legendary rock star Cal Calloway (Bono).  He has not been seen in 15 years. Eddie Redcliffe (Madeleine Sami) work together to solve the mystery?  It's a whodunnit. Enjoy! Description Deadloch is an eight-part crime comedy. Babylon Marc Platt Productions, Material Pictures Paramount Pictures My Rating  7/10 #whatonwhatsgood Rating  74% #whatonwhatsgood Express Review Babylon is set during the final years of the silent era of Hollywood.  The movie begins with a party and you slowly are introduced to Manuel Torres (Diego Calva), Nellie LaRoy (Margot Robbie), Jack Conrad (Brad Pitt), and Sidney (Jovan Adepo). Throughout the film, you learn how these group of characters navigate their way through the changing world of cinema. Overall, not a bad film.  I think my favourite character is Manuel Torres (Diego Calva).  I particularly enjoyed watching him go from a nobody to a Hollywood studio executive. I hope this doesn't affect my opinion of the series. In the series, Carson (Abbi Jacobson) leaves her husband to join the All American Girls Baseball League (AAGBL) the Rockford Peaches. She's a relatively shy individual. Her character grows quite a lot during the show. I think you will definitely like the character development. She meets Greta (D’Arcy Carden) and Jo (Melanie Field) in Chicago. Some of their characteristics are quite similar to Mae and Doris in the film. I particularly liked Max Chapman (Chante Adams) and Clance Morgan (Gbemisola Ikumelo) who are best friends on the show. Max wants to be a pitcher and Clance loves to create her own comic books.
