Description

A fictionalized retelling of events, PAINKILLER is a scripted limited series that explores some of the origins and aftermath of the opioid crisis in America, highlighting the stories of the perpetrators, victims, and truth-seekers whose lives are forever altered by the invention of OxyContin. An examination of crime, accountability, and the systems that have repeatedly failed hundreds of thousands of Americans, PAINKILLER is based on the book PAIN KILLER by Barry Meier and the New Yorker Magazine article ‘The Family That Built an Empire of Pain’ by Patrick Radden Keefe. Somebody Feed Phil Netflix SEASON 5 PREMIERE May 25, 2022 #whatonwhatsgood Express Review (by: Jovin Tardif) Philip Rosenthal's (creator of Everybody Loves Raymond) personality is incredible.  What a positive human being.  He’s always happy.  I love it.  In his documentary series, Phil eats random food worldwide and loves it.  He’s not an expert but he's highly entertaining and enjoys meeting new people.   In Season 5, Phil travels to five different countries to try their food and learn about their culture.  Each episode is delightful and easy to watch.  You might even want to travel after watching the series.
