The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping (Lionsgate, releasing 11/20/2026) 

It goes back 24 years before the events of The Hunger Games.

It starts on the morning of the “reaping” for the 50th Hunger Games, also called the Second Quarter Quell, showing what Panem was like at that time.

It is set in a town called Deadloch, Tasmania.  In the first episode, Trent Latham (Barry Wheeler) is found naked and dead on a beach.  The question is can Sergeant Dulcie Collins (Kate Box) and Det. Eddie Redcliffe (Madeleine Sami) work together to solve the mystery?  It's a whodunnit. Enjoy! Description Deadloch is an eight-part crime comedy. When a local man turns up dead on a beach, two vastly different detectives are thrown together to solve the case. Deadloch puts a comedic spin on the crime genre, completely flipping it and challenging the tropes of the genre. Dave Johnson (Max Greenfield) is just about the friendliest guy in the world.  I don't think anyone can dislike him.  Well one person can... Min).  Mika sees Yang as a big brother. The drama film essentially tells the story of a family dealing with grief after their A.I. (Yang) malfunctions. The theme is quite emotional.   After getting service from an underground technician, Jake gains access to Yang's memories.  While wearing VR glasses he watches the beauty of life, the world, and relationships through the eyes of their A.I.
