Basically, the guest star has to improvise their way through the case. It's an interesting concept. The improv wasn't bad. Arnett looked like he had a great time working with the different celebrities. My favourite episodes were Conan and Kumail. It was also fun trying to figure out the mysteries. The series basically explores the rise and fall of Elizabeth Holmes and Theranos. Her goal was to create a blood diagnostic technology that will be able to run hundreds of tests on a single drop of blood. Her technology never worked. I must say, Amanda Seyfried does an amazing portrayal of Elizabeth Holmes. The story allows you to see Holmes in high school, as a college freshman, and eventually a businesswoman. If you like Netflix’s “ Inventing Anna " or Showtime’s “ Super Pumped ” you will definitely like "The Dropout".
