A tragedy leads to 8-year-old Cady (Violet McGraw) living with roboticist Gemma (Allison Williams). As Cady deals with grief, Gemma decides to have M3GAN (Model 3 Generative Android) take care of her.  

M3GAN begins to watch, listen, and learn in order to become the teacher, playmate, and protector that Cady needs.  Unfortunately, M3GAN goes too far with her duties as a guardian, causing her to kill whoever tries to hurt Cady.

Overall, it’s a fun film.  Don't take it too seriously.

We had this idea a couple years back, and we sort of worked through it through the pandemic.  And now to actually see it come to fruition and ready to get out. It's pretty amazing. It's truly fun scary and darkly humorous.  I cannot wait for the audience to experience it.

She is a great bodyguard. She could be here, protecting me from I don't know whatever, even though she's only like 3 feet tall.  She would kick everyone's ass.

Megan is kind of real and kind of not real, and sometimes you think she's a person, and sometimes she's a machine, and I think I think that drives people nuts.

I think AI is being talked about more and more even in the last weeks.  There have been all these weird AI emails I've been getting or emails about AI, I should say maybe emails from AI as far as I can tell but I think it's very on people's minds. And so that's one of the reasons I think it's the trailer has connected in the way that it has here. It is a super fun and super scary movie.

I put her right to work... housework and cooking is what I would do.

Oh, my goodness! I would probably have her help me clean my room!  Help me with my homework, I mean the practical things we all have struggles with.
