Ryan Reynolds discusses his character Guy

“I fell in love with the character of Guy, who is looking for some kind of authorship in his life and some semblance of belonging.  He has a childlike innocence to him and a very rote kind of pattern that he goes through each and every day.  He’s obscenely optimistic, but then he meets this woman who helps him grow, and I think that is something a lot of people can relate to. She helps him grow in interesting and unique ways, and he gains his own sort of agency and an ability to begin thinking for himself, as a result.”

Jodie Comer discusses her character Millie

“Millie is so clever. She’s so smart and determined. She believes in herself, which I admire. And she’s funny. But I think what I love best is that even though something bad has happened to her, she’s determined to make things right.”

Utkarsh Ambudkar discusses his character Mouser

“When I got the audition for this role, I figured everybody was going to go in there dressed in an oxford or a polo shirt or whatever they think the computer nerd is supposed to look like, but video game programmers and streamers are rock stars and they dress like rock stars. They carry themselves like rock stars. They are huge in their communities, and I wanted Mouser to reflect that empowerment.  He operates under that rock star mentality.”
