I kept wondering if the NBA players were actually as bad as people said, or if the media made them look worse than they were. Some players did have real problems off the court. Rasheed Wallace sometimes got into trouble, and Damon Stoudamire also had issues, including marijuana charges. That’s why the team got the nickname “Jail Blazers” during the late 1990s and early 2000s.
