Steve Carell (Gru) discusses Minions: The Rise of Gru

Minions: The Rise of Gru has to do with a young Gru who is trying to assert his dominance as one of the up-and-coming villains in the world.

He has an interview with the vicious 6 who are the main villains of the day, to try to join their group.

They deny him. So in order to show them what he is worth, he steals this a very important gem.

At that point the movie, the movie launches into mayhem. 

A true villain is somebody who is ultimately not a very good person. I think at his core Gru is a very good person.  He's a good dad, he's a good husband.   He's a quirky dude. He loves the life of villainy, but in the reality, he's kind of a pussycat. 

It's interesting to see sort of the genesis of like what you know where he started, and what he ultimately turned into."

The movie begins with the Vicious 6 kicking Wild Knuckles out of their gang.

They decide that they want to recruit a new member.  

Gru, 11 years old, wants to be a supervillain. He finally gets his first opportunity when he meets his idols the Vicious 6 which includes their boss Belle Bottom (Taraji P. Henson). Unfortunately, they reject Gru because of his age. Gru gets offended and decides to steal their Zodiac Stone. The minions lose the stone and this leads to all kinds of chaos.

Can the terrible twos (Gru & Wild Knuckles) work together to take on the Vicious 6?

I'm sure you will chuckle a few times during this movie. Minions 2 is a cute animation film for the whole family. It's silly. Enjoy!

Bel-Air Season 1 No. of episodes: 10 #whatonwhatsgood Express Review (by: Jovin Tardif) Bel-Air is a dramatic version of the '90s comedy sitcom 'The Fresh Prince of Bel Air'.  It's about a young Will Smith who has to go to L.A. because of some issues happening in Philadelphia.  Just like in the original series, Will (Jabari Banks) has to get used to his new surroundings with his wealthy family in Los Angeles.  The series is interesting and they made some adjustments to the characters. Uncle Phil (Adrian Holmes) is slightly different in this show.  He's strict but fair.  He also has a few secrets. Aunt Vivian (Cassandra Freeman) plays a similar role to the 90's sitcom where she helps everyone try to accomplish their goals and become successful.  The only difference in this show is that she used to paint and she stopped doing it to help Uncle Phil with his political career. Inventing Anna tells the story of Anna Sorokin, a.k.a. Anna Delvey.   Anna is known as the woman who swindled New York’s elite out of more than $200,000.  She told everyone that she was a wealthy German heiress and that she wanted to start her own foundation.   We later learn that she didn't have a penny to her name.
