"Black-ish is about an upper-middle-class Black family. It includes marketing exec Andre “Dre” Johnson (Anthony Anderson), anesthesiologist and Andre's wife Rainbow (Tracee Ellis Ross), their eldest daughter Zoey (Yara Shahidi) their nerdy son Junior (Marcus Scribner), and their twins Jack (Miles Brown) and Diane (Marsai Martin).  

Throughout the show, Dre is always concerned about raising his children "right" and loves to get others' opinions including his father (Laurence Fishburne), his mother (Jenifer Lewis), his boss Leslie Stevens (Peter Mackenzie), his co-workers Josh Oppenhol (Jeff Meacham) and Charlie Telphy (Deon Cole) and family members, neighbors and many more. 

I must say Black-ish definitely tackles topics you don't really see on television such as racism and police brutality.  Overall, great show, a tremendous cast, interesting episodes, and an excellent premise."

In 2020, following a controversial trial that unveiled an intricate web of romance, she was convicted of murdering her partner with the help of an ex-lover.
