Pop singer Xavier (Dave Franco) is dead. Whodunit?  Detective Danner (Tiffany Haddish) is on the case. Each episode focuses on the retelling of what happened that night.  Every suspect tells their side of the story.  What I found amusing is that each character shares their story in a different movie genre (for example: romcom, action, musical, animation, etc...) and everyone is the star of their own genre of movie.
