He is originally a former New York City firefighter. He is recruited to lead the Austin, Texas fire department and his job is to put together a team for Station 126 after a terrible tragedy to the original team. Owen Strand (Rob Lowe) hires his recovering addict son T.K. Strand (Ronen Rubinstein), Marjan Marwani (Natacha Karam), Paul Strickland (Brian Michael Smith), Mateo Chavez (Julian Works), Nancy Gillian (Brianna Baker), and Tommy Vega (Gina Torres).
